Last Tourney

As I have promised, I will officially quit it after tomorrow. If one day someone asked me for dota game, I will smile at him and ask: “What is dota?”

In the early midnight today, (Somehow I don't know what the time is) I have a weird dream. I dream that I possess a lot of thing, falling love with a girl, nearly getting everything I want. But then the girl abandons me and I feel like so sad and despair. My days now are like a vast of emptiness, full of uncertainties. Dreams are getting very weird. Terrified dreams are better than there sort of weird dreams, which like an infinity dreams doesn't cease.

Today I feel like changes in me. This is a kind of weird feeling which I feel sometime. (a long time ago) Just like suddenly you hear and see things more clearly than you usually do. Quite a long time I didn't have this kind of feeling, and today I feel this again and reminisce my Secondary schooling time.

Reviving v6.51

Dota v6.51 give some honour for assisting teammate, this make the overall game more fair as hero usually involve in killing is given a honour. Complication in public game is solved perfectly.

Finally I've proven myself something is true, A leader. Failing is caused by teammate not fully trusting what is in the leader mind. Today he didn't seem to scold me back, a success have been made. Sometimes it is matter of want or not instead of can or cannot.

In a time, dota is like quite hard to understand for me. I mastered it in a month or two. Newbie are not to be blamed for their skills and techniques. All I can say is different people understanding level is different, someone like me need merely 2-3 months to fully acquire to the mechanism of the game. The other might need more than 1 year. Yet to be best is quick-witted, often knowing what to do is not enough. Your brain have to perform perfectly in critical moment to out beat opponent.

Today mom scolding me for my reckless driving skill. Lucky my mom didn't follow me to the highway, if she do I think she will stop me driving. Younger generation is like that isn't it. We can think faster, act faster.

Sked VS NooB

today our friendly match with Team SkeD is a failure. 1st of all, my team late for 35 minutes from the appointed time, I ask them to come earlier, but they didn't. You know how bad I feel when facing whole team - 5 strangers there looking at them playing 2v2 and one surfing internet so unwillingly.

FTZ Asia is very packed today. Command & Conquer going on. I walk around and see what is happening. Quite different the feeling being without those people accompany me. When feel like asking someone beside me but there is no one familiar to ask. Called Kee Leong out but he said he is sicked and staying at his Aunt house. Anyway walk all the place and look at those people wearing Command & Conquer team shirt busying with their stuff.

I keep calling them. At 2.25pm they said they only depart. (I like wtf I asked you guys arrive at 2.30pm and you only start leaving at 2.25pm.) At 2.40pm I called again and they say they on Federal Highway, and tell me they know how to reach here. At 2.55pm I am really down, I called one more time and they said they having traffic jam in front Bandar Sunway. At about 3.00pm Team Sked called me and ask whether how was it. By that time I went downstairs and they arrived. I don't know what to say, just lead them to upstairs, get 5 PCs, ask SkeD create game, and prepare to start. Our team said sorry to their team. (I appoint 2.30pm and asked SkeD not to be late, but my team late for 35 minutes. Really don't know what to say.)

And the game start to commence. 20 minutes for banning heroes and picking heroes. Opponent know very well as we know an AP draft game. After that everyone choose their hero. The game is like ending very fast. Obviously my team losing. (for those who are interested in the replay ask from me) I feel we are like losing in a dishonoured way. Cause their leader said: "sorry we kinda going so fast" "later got tournament so we end fast" (is obviously we losing and if they don't end it we are still losing)

I feel quite down after that game. They are merely a normal team and we losing without taking advantage on them. How when we facing those famous and top team for competition. haiz -.- Later our public game is a winning streak, but yet I know is meaningless. Public game is nothing at all compared to a team game.

Chap Goh Mei

Finally, the final day of Chinese New Year. Today I sent Daniel's to college and home. End up his mom giving me and my sister Ang Pau. I think this probably my first Ang Pau from non-relatives and last Ang Pau for this year.

By the way I have already registered the team [Noob], which I am not willing to join. First of all I feel that games is for fun, not too much for challenge. Challenge will always different from having fun. Seriously I am not good at all, that's why feeling like retreat.

Asia Cafe - Computer Game Shop

Went for dota today. Pretty nice for getting invoker in an All Random game. 3rd time getting invoker after the released of v6.50. The game start in a very nice pace, but end with a very sad case indeed. Thanks to our super late game hero Slithice and Magnus. One of them is always too scared of death and come out with Bracer no matter with what hero. The other is probably like the first skill too much with his void stone and too stubborn to try the 2nd and 3rd skill built. My intuition show me the limit of dota. As I said before, everyone have their maximum limit for dota, once the limit is reached, that is the end. It is only possible to vary the limit to improve, but very hard to do that.

Back To Hometown

Getting back to hometown at today evening-twilight time. Whenever I am back there, I feel boring. Because the main source of entertaining me seem to fade away. Just visit all relatives' house and keep silent while listening their conversation soaked of experiences. 19 years of Chinese New Year is always that place, nostalgia of my dad.
